Why Choose DerightFS for Bespoke African Tailoring in Manchester?

We are not just a clothing store. We are craftspeople who take pride in every stitch, every seam and every finished garment that leaves our hands. Here is what sets our bespoke service apart:

Made to your exact measurements Every bespoke outfit we create is built from scratch using your precise body measurements. No guessing, no approximations — just a perfect fit every single time.

Premium African fabrics We source only the finest fabrics for our bespoke clients — including luxury lace, damask, brocade, aso-oke, sequin, organza and more. If you have your own fabric, we can work with that too.

Expert African tailoring Our tailors have years of experience creating traditional and contemporary African outfits for men, women and children. From classic Yoruba styles to modern fusion designs — we bring your vision to life with skill and precision.

All sizes welcome Our bespoke service is available for all body types and sizes. Whether you are petite, plus size or anywhere in between — we create outfits that celebrate and flatter your figure beautifully.

Personal consultation Every bespoke journey begins with a personal consultation — either in our Manchester store or online. We take the time to understand exactly what you want, discuss fabric options, review reference photos and agree on a design before we begin.

Competitive pricing Quality bespoke African tailoring does not have to cost a fortune. At DerightFS we offer competitive pricing for every budget without ever compromising on quality.

Step 3 — Take your measurements We will take your full body measurements either in store or guide you through taking them yourself at home. Accurate measurements are the foundation of a perfect bespoke outfit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a bespoke outfit take? Turnaround time depends on the complexity of the outfit and our current order schedule. We typically advise a minimum of 3 to 6 weeks for bespoke orders. For urgent orders, please contact us to discuss availability.

Can I provide my own fabric? Yes — if you have purchased your own fabric or have been given Aso Ebi fabric for an event, we are happy to work with it. Simply bring or send your fabric along with your measurements and design brief.

How much does bespoke tailoring cost at DerightFS? Pricing varies depending on the style, fabric and complexity of the outfit. Contact us for a personalised quote — we work with a range of budgets and will always be transparent about pricing before we begin.

Do you make matching family outfits? Yes — we love creating matching outfits for families attending the same event. From parents and children to entire wedding parties, we can create coordinated looks that are both stylish and cohesive.

Can you replicate an outfit I have seen online? We can use reference images as inspiration and create a similar design tailored to your measurements and fabric choice. We do not copy other designers directly but we can absolutely capture the style, silhouette and feel of an outfit you love.

Do you offer Aso Ebi tailoring services? Yes — Aso Ebi tailoring is one of our most popular bespoke services. Whether you need one outfit or outfits for an entire wedding party, we can accommodate your needs.
